Donald Trump has arrived at a New York City courthouse to face criminal charges in an investigation into a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ⤵️ Donald Trump is the first former US president to be indicted on criminal charges. In 2016, just before the presidential election, Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid $130,000 in hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to keep her from disclosing her alleged affair with Trump. Cohen initially claimed that he paid the money out of his own pocket, but later admitted that Trump had reimbursed him for the payment. The payment became a matter of controversy, as it was seen by many as an attempt to influence the outcome of the presidential election by suppressing damaging information about Trump. It also raised questions about whether the payment violated campaign finance laws, as it was not reported as a campaign contribution. In August 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to charges of campaign finance violations, tax evasion, and bank fraud, and implicated Trump in the hush money scheme. Now, if you didn’t have extra, why indict him over the same exact charges your predecessor & Federal prosecutors said was a non-starter?! Even when asked who his new witnesses would be, he still said Stormy Daniels! Really?! Stormy Daniels have been talking like a drunk and judges never took her seriously. People expected new star witnesses. Where are they? Is it Michael Cowen Who was was described as a “serial liar” by one of his own lawyers?
