Our team is located at the Komaba Campus of the University of Tokyo, one of Japan's premier academic institutions. We have a strong community of ecologists and evolutionary biologists studying plants, animals, and fungi. We offer graduate programs in both Japanese and English, including the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences (http://gpes.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/) and the General Systems Sciences program (http://system.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/), respectively. If you are interested in pursuing graduate research with us, please note that there is a strict application deadline of 9 July 2023 for entry in April 2024, and a further deadline in late November 2023 for entry in September 2024. To be considered, the GRE is required.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like more information. You can also learn more about our research on the Shefferson lab website at www.sheffersonlab.com.
