 NC State University's interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Geospatial Analytics

These positions are fully funded, and students will receive $30,000 salary, benefits, and tuition waiver renewable( https://go.ncsu.edu/geospatial-phd-assistantships/)for up to four years. The Ph.D. program is committed to prioritizing student mental health and well-being, open data and data ethics, environmental and social justice, collaboration, community, and equity. Additionally, the program provides multidisciplinary advising from over a dozen departments across the university. Students will also have access to a curriculum offering core courses in topics such as remote sensing, geovisualization, and data mining, as well as discipline-specific electives. Furthermore, students will gain experience in experiential learning, including a professional seminar, conference travel opportunities, and geospatial externship.
