Lumumba's life and assassination

Patrice Lumumba was a Congolese politician and independence leader who was born on July 2, 1925, in Onalua in the Kasai province of the Belgian Congo (now the Democratic Republic of Congo). He was the first democratically elected prime minister of the Congo after it gained independence from Belgium in 1960. Lumumba's early political career began in 1954 when he joined the Congolese National Movement (MNC), which was the first political party to advocate for Congo's independence from Belgium. In 1958, Lumumba was elected the president of the MNC, and he became a prominent voice for the country's independence movement.

The Belgian government did not want the Congo to become independent and made every effort to undermine Lumumba's leadership. In June 1960, the Congo was granted independence, and Lumumba became the first prime minister. However, his tenure was short-lived, and he faced numerous challenges, including a rebellion in the mineral-rich province of Katanga, which was supported by Belgium and other Western powers. In September 1960, the army commander, Joseph-Désiré Mobutu, staged a coup and arrested Lumumba, who was subsequently imprisoned and tortured. In January 1961, Lumumba was taken to Katanga, where he was executed by a firing squad under the orders of the province's secessionist leader, Moïse Tshombe, with the support of Belgium and the United States. Lumumba's assassination was widely condemned by the international community, and his death was seen as a turning point in Africa's struggle for independence. His legacy as a nationalist leader who fought for the rights of the Congolese people remains an important part of the country's history. Lumumba's actions to liberate his country included advocating for the end of colonial rule and the establishment of a democratic government. He also worked to unite the country's various ethnic and regional groups and to address the economic disparities that existed between them. Overall, Lumumba was a key figure in the Congolese independence movement, and his leadership and vision for a united and prosperous Congo continue to inspire people around the world. Belgium, UK, USA connived and assassinated Lumumba, hacked him into pieces, dissolved his body into acid and took his teeth to Brussels, simply because he was struggling for Congo independence. These are the same people that want to lecture us about human rights and democracy. so far through history the West has never helped Africa or Africans,all they have done is destroy this continent for one thing or another. over 50 billions dollars worth of war aid has been given to Ukraine to fight a needless war. United States gave the four countries in west 100 million dollars to share this week. this was done by the V.p of president Biden. 25 million is the worth of Africa . These are nations that have no resources yet forces every other country to use dollars that is backed by absolute nothing. This evil can't continue and will not win.
